You said: “So that poem is about your father.” Well, it’s not accurate in the factual particulars if you mean my actual father. “A-ha. We got you—it’s symbolic, it’s about our-Father-in-Heaven.” Well, it’s not as false as all that. “Okay, don’t play games—what is it about: should we hate you because you made us feel pity for how you relate to your father, or did you just show us a new way to honour God—or have you tricked us and made us feel for nothing?”
