Europeans and Islam

*

Europeans will never become Muslim, even though, being a younger religion than Christianity, it still has more life in it—though in many places, especially among Muslims in the West, it is as hollowed out as any other religion. Even if Islam were imposed on Europeans, it would never penetrate as deeply as Christianity did.

Reason: Europeans take an empirical and positivistic stance to life—we like to see things tested and demonstrated. This is why Christianity ultimately failed among Europeans, and it is why all Semitic religions will ultimately fail among Europeans.

These revealed religions work on faith—the cardinal Christian virtues are faith, hope, and charity—and yet Europeans want demonstration.

This is because the Aryan (European) people are truthful—we value truthfulness above all else. We are not very impressed by a man who says, “Follow this religion—put your faith in Jesus!” “Okay, why?” “There is no ‘why’, just trust in the Lord—just believe, brother; just have faith.” Indeed, faith and hope amount to about the same thing—but what if this person just lied to us?

What used to be our way, which was lost to us in the fall of the Roman Empire, remains evident in Hinduism and Buddhism. These religion have no esoteric component—because gnosis, the esoteric component, is inherent within them. These religions, Aryan but degraded, offer a means by which to demonstrate in an empirical and positivistic way—though not in a quantitative scientific way—the existence of the spiritual realm. These are spiritual sciences.

Christianity lost its initiatic character centuries ago—it was last glimpsed among the Templars and the Cathars, who had a certain relation to Buddhism (as did a lot of what Jesus said); and, of course, both were suppressed by the Church.

The only initiation left in the West went into Freemasonry—which is why René Guénon wanted to unite the Christian Masons and the Catholic Church to bring initiation back into Christianity. However, Masonry was long ago corrupted—essentially founded, in its modern iteration—by the Jews and allied dark forces.

Now Islam is even more based on blind faith than Christianity. It is a totally simple religion that just says prostrate yourself and obey—ask no questions. So it is even more alien to the European nature than Christianity—which at least made strenuous efforts, through Scholasticism and men like Aquinas, to put the faith on some rational foundations.

So Europeans just aren’t going to buy Islam. True, Islam does have an initiatic aspect—Sufism; but that’s not really Islam, it’s preserved Indo-Aryan initiation from Iran put in crypsis to survive the Semitic onslaught during the Muslim invasions. It’s not what most people mean by Islam, it’s a tiny group within Islam, and people who convert to it might as well be Buddhists.

Unfortunately, due to the imposition of Christianity on Europeans, our empirical and positivistic nature instead expressed itself in material science—which provided a fierce critique of dogmatic Christianity in accord with our nature.

However, instead of our empirical nature being turned to a spiritual science, turned inwards, it was turned outwards (having no other outlet, initiation being suppressed) and used to construct the modern world—a world which in its quantitative relation to reality slaved to positivism and empiricism has created a very ugly environment and also degraded the general ethical situation.

The inner knowledge that can be attained in an empirical fashion as surely as a scientific experiment has been lost—that is to say, wisdom has been lost.

It’s a shame because, for example, the Germans are the most talented people in the world at music and music is the most perfect expression of the divine and the royal road to the spirit—and yet that talent has been turned towards science and technology. In the video below you see a Sanskrit song, Sanskrit being related to the primordial language of the Golden Age and the Indo-Aryan religion—a language that can change reality, rather as in David Lynch’s film Dune (1984).

Now imagine if the Germans developed music in line with spiritual science, in line with the sacred rhythms—not merely music created by individual men, like Bach and Beethoven, from their own minds for religious purposes but instead a form of traditional music yoked to harmonies, rhythms, and words known to change reality.

However, we have lost our connection to that almost completely—and Islam would just take us further and further away from real wisdom and knowledge, from our true nature (to be awakened, to be as gods—to instantiate in every individual the eternal monad, which the Israelites worshipped as ain soph as symbolised in the empty space where a god should have been on the Ark of the Covenant).

As Europeans, we do not need to worship “ain soph”; rather, we have the capacity, unlike other races, through the spiritual science to awaken ain soph (the unmoved mover, the Hindu parabrahman) within us and so be as gods—and thereby reestablish the Golden Age, the age of song. We live in an age of terrible ignorance where we still, in a residual way, worship “the one God” out there—when it was within us all along; and, worse, hardly anybody anymore even believes God is “out there”, let alone knows it is “in here”.

In short, Islam and Christianity are against our nature and are a huge diversion for us—we need to awaken the divine within, it’s in our blood. Islam would take us further away from that, it already offends our materialist empiricism in its dogmatism and fanaticism—and it also does not conform with our spiritual empiricism.

I would add that Europeans govern themselves on the principle primus inter pares—first among equals. In theory, the British Prime Minister is just “first among equals” alongside other Members of Parliament—they are free men of property who happen to have chosen one man among them to be their leader for a period. He doesn’t lord it over them like a sultan or an oriental despot.

The god of Christianity and Islam is an oriental despot who you have to throw yourself down before and then grasp his ankles and beg him not to throw you into the big bottomless pit he has in the centre of his palace.

This is not the European way, this is what the Spartans fought against at Thermopylae. Europeans do not grovel on our knees or with our forehead to the floor—we stand and salute God, because God is primus inter pares (we recognise the God in us and the God without us—we have merely recognised that one equal may take the lead). As with Mithras, the European God fights shoulder-to-shoulder with you—like a legionnaire or a faithful dog at your side.

It’s the Semitic faiths, faiths for slaves, that ask you to grovel before the distant despot—it’s just not the European way. Once you find the Godhead within, you will realise that there are many gods without—there is one God, and many gods. It’s paradoxical—because it’s about the infinite.
