Dante guide me down the steps of hell

You called me to my appointed task

And seven years of labour will mark

The start of a descent into sulphur

Guide me to my natal star, far above

On this benighted earth take care

To take my shoulder like Virgil

Be my cicerone as he was to you

Let us see how far we can descend

Before heaven makes herself apparent

The great surprise, those who descend

Go up, graduated to the highest place

A Roundtable and twelve knights I need

To bring the Grail you saw in stellar form

To earth, to ground the other realm here

And establish justice among the cursed.
